MAD Studio carries this spirit through the kindergarten as a whole. The entrance and reception introduce natural tones, planting and a familiar roofline, establishing a welcoming first impression. Further inside, curved forms shape both active and quieter settings. The library becomes a sheltered garden of books, with low displays, circular seats and enclosed reading nooks gathered beneath softly shaped ceiling elements.

The learning areas offer a complementary sense of clarity. Light surfaces, child-scaled tables and well-defined storage provide an ordered background for everyday activities. In the creative studio, visible materials and broad shared worktables introduce a richer, more exuberant texture, allowing the work itself to animate the room.

This kindergarten design connects movement, imagination and moments of concentration through a consistent architectural language. Changes in colour, scale and enclosure give each area its own identity, while recurring curves and timber tones draw the experience together. From the excitement of climbing to the stillness of choosing a book, the setting makes space for the many different rhythms of a young child’s day.
